Gary Tickle - Entertainer - North London,
London, Middx, Hertfordshire & more........

Childrens parties
Children’s show content:
One hour. This show is tailored to the age of the children attending but generally consists of a slapstick magic show with plenty of audience participation. Children are encouraged to participate in this interactive show where there are balloon models made for the volunteers. There is juggling too and unicycling, space permitting. It’s all very visual and, whilst Gary does not wear clown make-up, his oversized shoes and slapstick humour is clown-like and the children love to make him look a fool but are equally happy when he comes good in the end with some pretty impressive magic, juggling up to 5 balls and unicyling skills which have taken years to perfect.
Two hours: The two hour show starts much the same as the one hour show above. After around an hour, the children stop for some refreshments and something to eat. This usually lasts for about 15 mins and Gary supervises throughout. Then, for the remainder of the party, Gary organises musical games of a traditional nature such as musical statues etc so the children can have a dance and let off some steam leading up to the end of the party.

Circus skills workshops
Armed with balls, plastic plates for plate spinning, diabolo & mini stilts, Gary can run circus skills workships at parties, schools, fetes, street parties, festivals, barmitzvahs, weddings and christenings. It gets both children and parents talking and is a great ice breaker at any event.
Workshops as part of the national curriculum
Gary has worked in many schools as part of their physical education programmes using his workshops to build childrens confidence and hand eye coordination.
Magic workshops
Aimed at 7+, Gary can run a workshop showing small groups some easy to learn but very effective magic tricks and the children go home with one to keep and practise with.
Disco
Gary usually incorporates a bit of disco into his 2 hour show but, he can extend the disco and bring more high powered equipment and lights if required.
Festivals and street parties
Gary has entertained at many festivals where he performs a street act and circus skills workshops. He also regularly attends street parties where he meets and greats plus runs workshops and performs shows aimed at the family audience.
Corporate entertainment
Gary works at corporate events where he juggles strobe clubs or fire to welcome guests; performs an act of escapology & sometimes teams up for a cabaret act with his colleague Johnny Slap to form a double act called ‘Slap and Tickle’. This is a comedy act which usually involves volunteers from the audience to help them with some of their juggling feats including the ‘walk of death’ where one of the duo juggles knives over the participant..... blind folded. Gary also attends various corporate Christmas parties, mainly in central London.
Shop promotions
Gary has been invited on a number of occasions to drum up business inside and outside shops for promotional purposes. He also entertains the crowds waiting outside places such as Santa’s grottos and other shops where a queue is anticipated.

He has worked for an overseas adoption agency where none of the children speak English as their first language and he has also made a mime show video for the Hovercraft to entertain a variety of people from various countries whilst they crossed The Channel.
Costume
Gary has a variety of costumes from smart suit to jester costume. He has something for every occasion.
